Wholistic Food Therapy with Sarah Thacker, LPC, ATR-BC, E-RYT-500, C-IAYT

Prior to my training to become an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I received my Master's degree in Art Therapy from Hofstra University in 2002 and I am Registered and Board Certified as an Art Therapist as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Art therapy is a wonderful way to understand the inner self through creative exploration. I became a Registered Yoga Teacher in 2006, and Certified Yoga Therapist in 2017. 

I am a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapist and integrate this powerful tool into sessions as needed. EMDR is particularly valuable to help reduce emotional and physical distress and allows for greater healing in mind and body.

Integrating art therapy, yoga therapy, health coaching and EMDR into my practice has allowed those I work with to more deeply explore their physical and emotional needs and the mind-body connection and opens them to healing in a profound way. I would love to work with you along your path towards healing as you create a balanced, fulfilling, peaceful and healthy life.
